Marcus Swan is a multi-disciplinary designer from Dublin, working across a broad range of design for digital, product, service and brand experiences.

Currently available for new projects and roles.

My work ranges from brand and product design for international corporations to launching start-ups in the tech sector, from print and digital projects with individual artists to national arts institutions.

I have over a decade of experience as a designer and director working in fast-paced studios/agencies, as a freelance designer and as part of in-house design teams. In that time I’ve collaborated on and led design projects that make a difference to business, culture and society.

I am an accomplished public speaker and regularly gives talks and lectures on design including ATypI Dublin on typography for screen, DotConf on Design Thinking and Process, Refresh Dublin on design and process, Typography Ireland on digital communications, co-chair of Blueprint Talk on Digital Design, FaceForward Conference on digital language and Gov.UK Design on Design for Healthcare.

I have also been visiting lecturer to IADT Dún Laoghaire and Limerick School of Art and Design, and guest lecturer to DIT MSc in Digital Marketing & Analytics. I am a current member of the 100 Archive Professional Panel, 2018—2020, helping to select best in Irish design each year.
